Jake and Simon have been beat up by the older Trevor one too many times. They vow to get the ultimate revenge, and sleep with Trevor's girlfriend, Christine. Sure that the key to this impossible prize is the neighbor's Porsche, and their late night car heist goes off like clockwork until they slam into a car parked on the side of the road. Stunned but uninjured inside the Porsche, the boys see a beautiful, naked blond emerge from the crumpled car they've hit, and disappear into the woods. Not sure if she was real or a ghost, the boys abandon the Porsche and run for their lives.

Inside the smashed car, 30 year old Craig lies pinned and bleeding. He manages to drop all the naked girl's clothing out the window, and along with it, all proof of his infidelity. Craig's wife, Lina, is no fool though. She suspects Craig of being untrue to her, and she knows the iPod the police find in his car isn't his. She suspects it belongs to whomever he might have been with, and that the strange name carved into it is the key to finding her.

The iPod however, is Simon's. Losing it in the crash, and losing the car they need to impress Christine are only the beginning of their troubles. Robert, the Porsche owner, wants revenge: not only for the wrecked car, but also for the jail time he's going to serve because the police found records inside of the money he's making in a car theft ring. Robert is mistakenly convinced that his politician wife hired the boys to smash the car so she could get rid of him without being implicated herself. He needs a confession from the boys to make sure his wife goes to jail too, and he's willing to break their arms to get it.

Meanwhile, Lina manages to find the strange name carved into the iPod on Facebook, and strikes up an email exchange with the boys. By allowing them to believe she is the naked girl who emerged from the car, she coaxes from them the proof of her husband's indiscretions and the description of the girl that she's after. Her struggle becomes a moral one though as her email exchanges with Simon grow more involved, and she realizes the boy is falling in love with a false idea of who she is. Even more complicated, she realizes this boy's character makes him more of a man than her husband has ever been.

Events continue to spiral out of control pushing Simon into an ever more surprising world of love and betrayal. Ultimately, Simon must find the courage to trust, to forgive, and even to love.
